there goes the info.........now u can clearly see that the Apache has got more power than the Pulsar but the competition is very close on the track!
To mention the plus points of Apache, it has got more power, better mileage and performance, two trip meters, a very sporty 0-60 timer and a top speed recorder as well and when looks are considered the apache surely scores over its rival...... getting with the pulsar - it surely was the best selling bike in the 150cc segment until apache was introduced in the market......the pulsar looks masculine and its aerodynamic design add up to its oomph....it has the best in class engine, a good 0-60 acceleration of 5 seconds but the apache does it in 4.8( personally verified ), the ride is smooth at speeds of 70-85 ( one place where the pulsar score greatly over the apache ) , the switches and buttons in the handlebar are backlit and add up to its excellent looks..........
now to the not-so-good part of the rivals, the apache develops vibrations in the passenger footrest @ higher engine speeds and the road grip of the tyres are very poor.....now to that of pulsar - it does not promise mileage when it is accelerated real real fast and it lets you down at higher engine speed, clearly it lacks a bit of pulling power over 9000 rpm range.....
The pulsar comes in 6 variants - 135 LS, 150, 180, 200, 220 and the 220F. The 150 cc pulsar is priced at 64k and the top variant @ 91k.
The apache has four variants till date - 150cc IE Surge, RTR 160, RTR 160 Fi, RTR 180. The company has plans to release the much awaited 200cc variant with ABS ( yes u heard me! ) by the middle of 2011.The RTR 160 is priced at 64k same as pulsar but it promises bigger figures!
Now you surely will be confused about which bike to purchase from the above stats, here s d deadline
The Pulsar is "Definitely Male" but the Apache is "Now or Never"!!!!
happy biking!
