Watch the official release trailer for Guy Moshe's Bunraku, via YouTube:
In a world with no guns, a mysterious drifter (Hartnett), a young samurai and a bartender (Harrelson) plot revenge against a ruthless leader (Perlman) and his army of thugs of nine diverse and deadly assassins. This visually stunning film is filled with uniquely choreographed action sequences of a new style that melds east with west and old school with new. Bunraku is written & directed by filmmaker Guy Moshe, of only a film called Holly previously. Yes, there are some cool fights in it, but it's just way too long and way too wacky at times to be enjoyable. ARC Entertainment is finally putting Bunraku in theaters starting September 30th

Trailer for Josh Hartnett's Wacky Martial Arts Indie 'Bunraku'
"Honorable men... they die hard, but they still die." Give this a shot if something about it interests you, but let me warn you, it's not that good. AICN (via FSR) recently debuted the release trailer for Guy Moshe's Bunraku, a stylized, martial arts, revenge movie starring Josh Hartnett, Woody Harrelson, Gackt, Ron Perlman, Demi Moore and Kevin McKidd. I saw this flick at the Toronto Film Fest last year and can tell you it's just plain awful, as is the general consensus. It's way too long, totally too wacky, and just not that good, but the fights are fun at least. Check out this trailer, but I don't suggest actually seeing the film.
